Agia Napa Cape Greco is known for its outstanding hiking trails. Agia Napa Cape Greco is the attraction of Agia Napa tourist resort. For the enthusiasts of hiking, head to Cape Greco and stroll through the trail with stunning coastal panoramas. This national park is between the towns of Agia Napa and Protaras and is the island’s most southerly point.

They are very easy trails here perfect for families wanting a nature walk as well as more experienced hikers. Walk along the high cliffs with views sweeping across the Mediterranean and beyond. Take your time if you want to relax and enjoy the fantastic seascape. You can take a sit on one of the many benches found along the cliff. Give yourself enough time and enjoy the panoramic views as far as your eye can take you.

For the more active hikers, staircases cut into the cliff allow access to some of the sea caves below and don’t forget your swimsuit to cool down with a dip at the end of your hike at Konnos beach that lies at the Protaras end of Cape Greco.

Nine more trails along the way

As well as the main coastal path, there are nine more trails brunching off in other directions to explore the flora and Fiona with as much as 71 species of wildflower and a multitude of wild orchids grow in the spring.

The trail starts a few kilometres away from the town centres of Ayia Napa and Protaras. You can easily access it by car or by the local bus. There are also regular buses from Protaras that can drop you right in front of the park’s entrance.

One of the most popular stops in the Cape Greco national park is the Blue lagoon. This shouldn’t be confused with the blue lagoon in Akamas, but it’s still a beautiful place to visit. Some boat tours will stop here and tourists can swim from the boat and enjoy the crystal clear water that has an amazing turquoise colour. It’s also a great place for snorkelling, so make sure to bring your snorkel gear.
