Larnaca Marina lies beyond the rows of palm trees and cafés that decorate the Finikoudes area with its impressive yachts. Visit this harbour as a gateway to Zenobia’s Wreck, an unusual scuba diving site centred on a sunken ship.

You can enjoy a 15-minute glass-bottom boat trip to Zenobia’s Wreck. Enjoy the views of the fish and other treasures beneath the vessel’s glass window. When you arrive at the site,

learn about what happened to the MS Zenobia. All of the passengers and crew were evacuated from the ship and survived the accident. The vessel has been left on its side on the sea floor for decades to today.

You can even dive with a guide to get a closer look at the enormous 178 metres long ship. Experienced divers can swim into the former cafeteria and see the eerie way the vessel has deteriorated over the years.

Back in the marina; dine at one of the many restaurants serving local specialties, like calamari, sea bass and octopus. Take an after-dinner stroll in the port to investigate the range of boats.

Nearby Finikoudes Beach has volleyball areas and clear water for swimming. Sit on a rock at the port and watch the sun drop below the horizon at sundown. Take some memorable photos of the yachts with the background featuring the changing hues of the horizon. Have a troll at the local shops held here selling everything from food and drinks to toys and souvenirs.

Larnaca Marina is positioned in the centre of the
